The finishing touches to the bathroom just pulled it all together and made it functional for my family.

I am going to start with the tub and work myself around the room clockwise. The shower curtain I picked out helped me decide on the color scheme of the makeover. This was the hardest decision I had to make in this room. Once I had that picked out everything else seemed to fall into place for me.
The holders for the shampoo and body wash are Command Strips brand products. The hooks are also Command Strips. They have worked out very well to clean up the shower. The hooks are so we would have a place for our scrubbers(and no one would use mine). I love Command Strips and they are were made to be used in the bathroom.
I saw these hooks at Marshall’s and fell in love with them. Using hooks for the towels instead of a towel bar I have wanted to do for the longest time. The birds are so cute.
The stool is another find from thrift store hunts. I painted it with General Finishes Milk Paint in Snow White. Then sealed it with General Finishes High-Performance Top Coat. The “Step it UP!” using vinyl cut out with my Cricut Explorer One.
The door knobs, light fixture, and the faucet are all matching brushed nickel.
Using Behr paint in “Real Teal” I painted the edge of the door. I saw this idea on the internet and had to try it. I love the color.
For the accessories, I painted mason jars with chalk paint, sealed them with wax and added some twine for an embellishment. I spray painted the rims white. The liquid soap pump kit and the flower frog I used for the toothbrush holder I purchase online. The white tray that they sit in was another find at a thrift store. Again, I painted it the same way I painted stool.
The switch plates I Mod Podge some pretty paper to them. What a quick and easier project.
The little cabinet above the toilet is from also Marshall’s. And last, the white basket that sits between the cabinet and the toilet is another thrift store find. It is going to be used for the scale and magazines.

The finishing touches in the bathroom were what polished everything up. These little things show our personality as well as being functional. Some of these things I hemmed and haahed over but others I just knew they would be perfect for the bathroom.
